Us
Sterling-Miller Designs was established
in 1997 by Joel A. Miller, a
young craftsman and entrepreneur. Joel started his career
in
cabinetmaking, creating 18th century reproduction furniture.
Later he branched out into the use of Dupont™  Corian®,
working on many high-profile projects including a large hotel
renovation project in Hawaii in 1993. Joel’s wide range of
experience and expertise make Sterling-Miller Designs
Inc. a versatile and cutting edge company.
Sterling-Miller Designs Inc. is a Dupont™
certified fabricator of custom-made Corian® furniture,
interiors, prototypes and accessories. We specialize in developing
creative fabrication solutions for our clients. Utilizing
our expertise in multi-directional thermoforming, CAD, and
CNC machining we strive to turn each client’s design into
reality. Endeavoring to broaden the use of Corian® we
work closely with architects, artists,
homeowners, contractors, furniture
and interior designers, highlighting the strengths and benefits
of using Corian® for their projects.
Unlike most companies Sterling-Miller Designs
Inc. delves into what is currently known
as unconventional for Corian® creating custom residential,
office, hotel and public furniture and interiors, retail display
fixtures, jewelry, sculptures, vanities and bathtubs. All
of Sterling-Miller Designs Inc. custom Corian®
projects reflect the highest standards in craftsmanship, design,
materials and aesthetics. The focus of Sterling-Miller
Designs Inc. is to make the visions and designs
of all of our customers both large and small a distinct reality.
